£10 Million Emergency Medical Expenses
Includes search and rescue up to £100,000
24 Hour Emergency Helpline
Your case will be managed by our assistance company who have multi-lingual staff and medical expertise to coordinate your care and if necessary your repatriation
Hospital Fees and Repatriation
Provides cover for the costs of emergency medical care and arrangements for bringing you home
Personal Baggage and Belongings
Cover for your running kit if it gets lost, stolen or damaged
Cancellation Costs
Includes cover if you cannot travel or participate due to illness or injury, however the cover does not include cancellation due to failure of the mandatory medical tests
Covid Cover
Includes cover if you cannot travel because you test positive for Covid-19 within 14 days of departure

Which level of cover?
BMC Travel Cover provides cover under 5 different levels: Travel, Trek, Rock, Alpine & Ski and High Altitude & Remote Areas. Cover for Marathon des Sables is included in the Rock policy which you can select at ‘Step 1’ of the online application.
Which territory?
Because it is in North Africa, cover for travel to Morocco is included in Worldwide 1.
Do I have to be a BMC member?
If you are not already a BMC member, you will need to join the BMC to use BMC Travel Cover, but don’t worry you can organise your BMC membership at ‘Step 4’ of the online application.
