Travel Cover

Jonathan Conville Course

“The BMC works really hard to ensure that we all have access to the wild places that we love. They support conservation projects and footpath maintenance, they represent us to the people in charge, and when you join, you become part of a like-minded community.”

Cover you can trust

The BMC has been developing specialist cover for its members since the early 1970s. Since then the BMC ‘Alpine & Ski’ policy has been providing competitive travel cover for climbers on their many adventures into the high mountains of Europe.

With BMC you benefit twice

Any profits made from our policies go right back into funding vital projects, including our access, environment and conservation work; as well as safety and training projects.

Which level of cover?

BMC Travel Cover provides five different policy levels: Travel, Trek, Rock, Alpine & Ski and High Altitude & Remote Areas. Cover for the Jonathan Conville Alpine Course is included in the BMC ‘Alpine & Ski’ policy which you can select at ‘Step 1’ of the online application.

Which territory?

Cover for travel to France, Switzerland and Italy is included in 'Europe'.

Do I have to be a BMC member?

If you are not already a BMC member, you will need to join the BMC to use BMC Travel Cover, but don’t worry you can organise your BMC membership at ‘Step 4’ of the online application.
